Coronavirus – Competition update

18-03-2020 Covid-19 Update

The following shows changes to 2020 competitions as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak:
Young Restaurant Team of the Year
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, all teams selected for the semi-final will automatically go through to the Grand Final on 1 July.
Current plans are for a double Grand Final with one set of teams undertaking a lunch service at 11am and the other at 3pm.
 
Young Pastry Chef
In light of the Government's advice yesterday regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, the decision has been taken to postpone the final of Young Pastry Chef of the Year.
We are looking to re-arrange the final for the autumn and would like to thank all our competitors, judges and sponsors for their understanding.
 
Young Master Chef
In light of the Government's advice yesterday regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, the decision has been taken to postpone the Young Master Chef of the Year competition until 2021.
We would like to thank all those who have expressed an interest in supporting, judging and competing for their support and understanding.
 
NECTA
In light of the Government's advice yesterday regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, we understand that the decision has been taken to cancel NECTA 2020.
We would like to wish the organisers well and pledge our continued support for this excellent hospitality event.

  • Passion/Infusions Upskill Day and The Final
  • 10th Gala Dinner

I am following events closely and will look to release new dates as soon as it is feasible to do so.
