New Educational Masterclasses from Britain’s Master Chefs

The Master Chef of Great Britain (MCGB) have teamed up with online training platform, Tayl, to create a new series of educational masterclasses from the most prestigious chefs across the country.

The new initiative was created in collaboration with The Full Range Ltd who provide of culinary support and professional advice. George McIvor, Chairman of MCGB and founder of The Full Range, anticipates the new initiative will help to inspire the next generation of culinary stars.

Passionate about promoting the exchange of culinary ideas and providing guidance to young chefs, George McIvor, said: “The Master Chefs of Great Britain is an extraordinary resource. We have a network of outstanding chefs who are looking to nurture young talent and give young people a chance they may not have had. There is support available and we want to encourage and inspire young chefs connecting them with the most prestigious people in the industry.”

Hospitality is full of opportunities for school leavers who don’t know what they want to do and the Master Chefs of Great Britain hope to reach more young people thanks to their new collaboration with Tayl.

The inaugural Masterclass features Stevie McLaughlin, Head Chef of Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles, Scotland’s only two Michelin Star Restaurant, who will be demonstrating how to prepare a wild Turbot. Described by Chef Stevie as ‘The King of Fish’ for is rich flavour and grand looks, the Masterclass includes a lesson on sourcing sustainable seafood and how to quality control your produce.

Demonstrating different methods of preparation with an emphasis on reducing waste these new Masterclasses will provide young chefs with additional skills directly from the finest Chefs in Britain to further their culinary careers.
