Chocolate & Food Photography Master Class

The City of Bristol College hosted two fantastic masterclasses on the 10th January with Master Chef Ben Bartlett as Master of Ceremonies for the Day.

Award winning Master Chef Shona Sutherland from Taystful in Blairgowrie delighted our student chefs with her chocolate masterclass. Shona guided student chefs through several inspiring chocolate making techniques, chocolate fillings and decoration ideas giving them the opportunity to assist and be involved with the final creations.

Professional Photographer Kirstie Young presented an essential photography masterclass.

Kirstie Young hosted ‘Food Photography with your Phone’ masterclass providing valuable hints and tips to get the best from your phone camera when taking images of your delicious creations!

Two incredible and unique demonstrations will be the absolute highlight of this unmissable culinary event. “It is extremely rare to bring a top photographer with an award-winning chef.” explains Ben Bartlett “Our master class is a unique chance for student chefs to gain valuable insight not only into chocolate cuisine but also creating culinary pictures for Instagram”.
